Since 2010, LJ Research has managed an independent research panel on behalf of the National Trust for Scotland to seek feedback from members and non-members to inform ongoing decision making. The latest National Trust for Scotland Research Panel captured views on the long term roles and responsibilities of the Trust.
Amongst other findings, as can be seen in the chart below, 57% of respondents thought that the Trust should continue to manage AND care for properties that are acquired in the future. It was also interesting to observe strong support for the Trust becoming a more active advocate of heritage and conservation: only 3% of the sample were against developing this aspect.
